Couric vs. Edwards: Bonfire of the Vanities

On 60 Minutes last night, Katie Couric dug her Manalos in for an over-the-top undressing of John Edwards, the khaki-prone presidential candidate and humble son of a mill worker.  I can’t stomach Edwards, and wish he’d go away.  But Couric’s inquisition into his commitment to run despite a sick wife seemed a bit much.  You’re more than a skirt now, Katie, we know.  You’re a serious journalist.  You’ve made your point.

Below are highlights of Couric hanging the couple by their Livestrong bracelets, and beating them like vanilla-filled pinatas.  But first, please enjoy 121 seconds of Edwards getting his pretty on.  Stick around til the end, and you might just get a sensuous whistle-wetting that promises to tingle your tender places.
